    CHAT PILE Launches Tape Label Dungeon Earth Recordings, Drops Blood At Night I & II

    Chat Pile has formally launched their very own cassette label, Dungeon Earth Recordings, with a mission to unearth and launch essentially the most obscure and experimental materials from their archives. Operated totally by the band and made for the followers, by the band, Dungeon Earth will provide unique cassette-only and Bandcamp-only releases. So should you’re making an attempt to pay attention to those on streaming, robust shit. They ain’t there.

    The label debuts with Blood at Night time I & II, a two-volume assortment of noise, ambient, and improv recordings from the Cool World classes. Stream each beneath and get ’em here on Bandcamp. Not on tape, although – these offered out like, three seconds after Chat Pile introduced the label. Chat Pile describes each releases as such:

    “Blood at Night time I – This launch accommodates all the assortment of manipulated tape loops recorded throughout the making of Cool World. Sections of most of those tracks had been dissected and subtly woven into the ultimate model of the document. All the unique cassettes used on this assortment had been sourced from OKC thrift shops and canopy a wide range of oddball niches like hypnosis tapes, native band practices, resort convention background music and the occasional spiritual self-help lecture.

    “Blood at Night time II – We recorded Cool World at Chat Pile H/Q from December 2023 to March 2024, and through that point we scheduled two particular improv recording classes to assist shake free the grind that may happen when making a document from scratch.
