On Wednesday evening, July 9, British punk-rap duo Bob Vylan performed their first present in England since their controversial set at Glastonbury the place frontman Bobby Vylan led the gang in a chant of “Loss of life, loss of life to the IDF.” The gig befell on the 100 Membership, within the Soho neighborhood of London, and located Bobby Vylan acknowledging the controversy surrounding the band.

“I’m gonna attempt to hold my talkin’ to a minimal right this moment,” Vylan mentioned, in line with footage shared by The Standard, “’trigger that’s what received us in bother within the first fuckin’ place!” Members of the gang then started chanting, “Loss of life, loss of life to the IDF,” at which level Vylan mentioned, “No, no, no, no, no, you’re gonna get me in bother. You’re gonna get me in bother.”

“Apparently, each different chant is okay,” Bobby Vylan continued, “however you lot will get me in bother.” He then led a chant of “Free, free Palestine,” and added, “We’re gonna follow the classics, all proper?”

The Avon and Somerset Police has been investigating whether or not Bobby Vylan’s feedback at Glastonbury, aimed on the Israeli Protection Forces, represent a legal offense. As famous by The Guardian and The Independent, the Metropolitan Police can also be investigating Vylan for allegedly saying, throughout a live performance at London’s Alexandra Palace, in Could, “Loss of life to each single IDF soldier on the market as an agent of terror for Israel. Loss of life to the IDF.”

Following their set at Glastonbury, Bob Vylan have been dropped by United Expertise Company, had their U.S. visas revoked by the Trump administration, and have been removed from the lineup of a Manchester music pageant. Glastonbury organizers said they have been “appalled” by the band’s feedback, and the BBC apologized for broadcasting the efficiency.

Bob Vylan defended themselves in a statement, writing, “We’re not for the loss of life of Jews, Arabs or some other race or group of individuals. We’re for the dismantling of a violent navy machine. A machine whose personal troopers have been instructed to make use of ‘pointless deadly pressure’ in opposition to harmless civilians ready for assist. A machine that has destroyed a lot of Gaza.”
