FKA twigs has agreed to drop her long-running lawsuit towards her former boyfriend Shia LaBeouf. Based on paperwork obtained by Pitchfork, the musician and her attorneys filed a request to dismiss the criticism with prejudice, which means that FKA twigs can’t refile the case.
In a joint assertion shared with Pitchfork, attorneys Bryan J. Freedman and Shawn Holley stated, on behalf of their respective purchasers, FKA twigs and Shia LaBeouf: “Dedicated to forging a constructive path ahead, we now have agreed to settle our case out of courtroom. Whereas the small print of the settlement will stay personal, we want one another private happiness, skilled success, and peace sooner or later.”
FKA twigs initially sued Shia LaBeouf in December 2020, claiming that the actor subjected her to “relentless abuse,” sexual battery, assault, and emotional misery. She had been in search of $10 million in damages.
