    Crossroads Theatre Announces Summer in the Park: August 22 To 24 In Weston

    Michelle Urbano, Creative Director of Crossroads Theatre, has introduced the programming for Summer time within the Park, three days of free neighborhood leisure and occasions that takes place from August 22 to 24 in Weston’s Little Avenue Memorial Park.

    “Summer time within the Park is our joyful providing to have interaction audiences of all ages and backgrounds, exploring the theme of Resilience via theatre, storytelling, music, dance, poetry, and by gathering as a neighborhood,” says Urbano in an announcement. “At Crossroads Theatre, entry is central to all the things that we do, and all the pageant is created to ask discovery and play. We invite all of us from the Weston neighbourhood and past to affix us this August for our second-annual summer time program.”

    The theme for this yr is Resilience, and the lineup contains all the things from R&B to storytelling, dance, spoken phrase, and theatre. It’s all free, and family-friendly. The programming is offered in a Relaxed Surroundings Strategy.

    The Lineup

    August 22

    • Summer time within the Park launches with an Opening Night time Celebration, together with stay music, and a neighborhood meal in partnership with the Inventive Commons Collective. (6 to 7:30 p.m.)

    • The pageant closes with Crossroads Theatre and Occasion within the Park, in partnership with the Weston Village Group Affiliation, providing meals, video games, music, and enjoyable. (2 to 4 p.m.)
