The OzAsia Festival 2025 lights up Adelaide with three extraordinary dance works that invite audiences to connect, reflect, and celebrate the power of movement.

Walk alongside Singapore’s T.H.E Dance Company in a gentle, profound outdoor performance conceived and created by Founding Artistic Director Kuik Swee Boon, tracing shifting relationships between people, places and passers-by.

Guided by Malaysian sound artist Kent Lee’s live music, share moments with the dancers—a held hand, a gesture, a gaze. Whether you move with them, accept their gentle invitations, or simply linger nearby, Searching Blue reminds us that even amidst the noise and bustle, we can still listen, feel and connect.

Searching Blue will be at the Festival Plaza 23-25 October.

A Tagalaka woman and Cantonese man embark on a forbidden love affair forged in the flames of a burning country. Centuries later, their remains are discovered in a forever embrace, setting into motion a sprawling exploration of belonging that pierces the core of our identity.

Created by visionary artists S. Shakthidharan, Daniel Riley and Jasmin Sheppard, who has woven her own family history through the work, Two Blood sees Australian Dance Theatre continue to break new ground with an interdisciplinary ceremony that blends film, music, and movement across borders, cultures and time.

Revelling in our multiplicity, Two Blood is an intensely physical work that crashes through the narratives that have shaped our nation. This world premiere takes place 28 October – 1 November at ADT’s The Odeon.

Performed together for the first time, Ryuichi Fujimura’s trilogy of solo dance works, How Did I Get Here?, How I Practice My Religion, and Fall! Falter!! Dance!!!, charts the artist’s 25-year journey as a contemporary dancer. Together they capture his journey reckoning with his body’s shifting capabilities and the passing of time.

A witty and moving depiction of a life in dance and the relentless desire to just keep dancing, the HERE NOW Trilogy will be at Vitalstatistix 5-7 November.

Don’t miss this chance to experience the artistry and innovation of these remarkable dance works at OzAsia Festival 2025—secure your tickets now at ozasia.adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au and be a part of a vibrant celebration of tradition and creativity.
