    IRON MAIDEN’s NICKO MCBRAIN Launches Metal Sticks Podcast With Modern Drummer CEO

    Nicko McBrain might have stepped off the highway after 42 years behind the package for Iron Maiden, however the steel icon is not slowing down. Immediately (Sept 10), Nicko McBrain unveiled Steel Sticks — a brand-new heavy steel podcast and video collection co-hosted with Trendy Drummer CEO David Frangioni.

    Described as the last word heavy steel drumming present, Steel Sticks blends artist interviews, gear deep-dives, classes, and McBrain‘s larger-than-life persona into one collection.

    “Heavy Steel, Drumming and Iron Maiden have been my life, and have given me a lot,” Nicko McBrain stated. “Now David and I can host a present that brings the viewers inside the method, celebrating Heavy Steel, Iron Maiden and the wonderful group that it embodies. We created the present that we might love to observe as each followers and musicians alike.”

    Season One, streaming now on all platforms with a deluxe video model on YouTube, spans eight episodes and options:

    • Face2Face: peer-to-peer interviews with icons like Alex Van Halen, Steve Vai, Charlie Benante, Ian Paice, and extra.
    • Pay attention With Nicko: a revival of McBrain‘s cult-favorite commentary segments from Maiden‘s The First Ten Years field set, up to date for 2025.
    • Put on, Tear and Care: professional suggestions from McBrain on gear repairs and upkeep.
    • Roll With Nicko: a tour of his private archive of Iron Maiden snares, memorabilia, and distinctive rock’n’roll relics collected over 50 years.
