Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio and British producer Fort Romeau (aka Mike Greene) are releasing their debut album as C.Y.M. In the present day, they’ve shared the brand new single “Lifetime of Mine,” that includes Day Wave. Take a look at a Tom Mull–directed video for that under. The album, C.Y.M., arrives October 17.
Recorded over the course of 4 years in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Glasgow, and Lagos, the album options visitor appearances from Cherry Glazerr, Lagos’s pop singer Solis4evr, and Crenshaw rapper Nana. C.Y.M. launched their debut EP, which was additionally self-titled, in 2019.
