    SBS’s “Queen Mantis” has shared suspenseful new stills from its upcoming episode!

    A remake of the French collection “La Mante,” “Queen Mantis” is a brand new crime thriller starring Go Hyun Jung as Jung Yi Shin, a well-known serial killer nicknamed “The Mantis” who brutally murdered 5 males 20 years in the past and has been imprisoned ever since. When a brand new serial killer emerges, copying The Mantis’s distinctive type, the police method Jung Yi Shin for her help in fixing the case.

    Jang Dong Yoon stars as Jung Yi Shin’s estranged son Cha Soo Yeol, a detective who has hated his mom all his life however abruptly finds himself working along with her to resolve the Mantis copycat murders.

    Within the first two episodes, the mom and son reunited for the primary time in 23 years to sort out the Mantis copycat case.

    Now, the manufacturing group has unveiled stills from the upcoming Episode 3, capturing a strong scene of Jung Yi Shin and Cha Soo Yeol going through one another alone. Within the stills, Jung Yi Shin sits calmly in what seems to be a secluded residence late at evening, whereas her son Cha Soo Yeol seems earlier than her. In contrast to the composed Yi Shin, Soo Yeol seems to be visibly shaken. What dialog might spark such starkly contrasting reactions between the mom and son?

    In a single particularly surprising picture, Soo Yeol is even seen along with his fingers round Yi Shin’s throat, heightening anticipation for the episode.

    Director Byun Younger Joo beforehand teased this scene in an interview earlier than the present’s premiere, saying, “In Episode 3, there’s a roughly 15-minute-long scene with Go Hyun Jung and Jang Dong Yoon. It’s a scene I discovered actually astonishing and extraordinary. You’ll be able to look ahead to it.”

    The subsequent episode of “Queen Mantis” will air on September 12 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
