Public Enemy have been the musical company final night time (Monday, September 29) on Jimmy Kimmel Dwell! Kicking off every week of particular broadcasts from the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Chuck D and Flavor Flav performed a medley of “Don’t Consider the Hype,” from 1988’s It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, “Battle the Energy,” from 1990’s Fear of a Black Planet, and “The Hits Simply Hold On Comin,” from their new album Black Sky Over the Tasks: Condominium 2025. Watch all of it go down under.

“Hey yo, Jimmy Kimmel, we’re Public Enemy, and I simply need you to know that Public Enemy all the time bought ya again,” Taste Flav shouted at the start of his and Chuck D’s efficiency. In June, Public Enemy shared the protest tune “March Madness,” following it up with Black Sky Over the Tasks in July.

After being suspended by ABC earlier this month, Jimmy Kimmel Dwell! made its return to the air final week on Tuesday, September 23. The community and its dad or mum firm, the Walt Disney Firm, had come under pressure from the Trump administration following a joke that Jimmy Kimmel made in regards to the alleged shooter of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

See the place Concern of a Black Planet and It Takes a Nation of Tens of millions to Maintain Us Again fall on Pitchfork’s new listing of “The 100 Best Rap Albums of All Time.”
