Geese are the primary act to play Nigel Godrich’s From the Basement collection in nearly three years. In a brand new episode of the enduring live-in-studio music collection, the New York band led by Cameron Winter ran by means of a virtually 35-minute set of songs from their new album, Getting Killed. Following its authentic run from 2006 to 2009, Godrich relaunched From the Basement in 2022. The collection has since featured performances by Idles, Caribou, and Squid. Previous to Geese, Godrich’s final From the Basement visitor was Nilüfer Yanya.
Getting Killed got here out in September. Geese not too long ago shared a music video for the album observe “Au Pays du Cocaine” and stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Dwell Lounge, the place they covered New Radicals’ Nineteen Nineties traditional “You Get What You Give.”
