Geese frontman Cameron Winter has shared a brand new music video for his Heavy Metal observe “Love Takes Miles,” the best song of the year. The clip stars Woman Chook actor Lucas Hedges as a lovelorn development employee. After hurling rocks open air whereas exasperatedly singing a verse from the track, “Love Takes Miles” begins up in earnest as we see Hedges get more and more fed up with the annoyances of his job. With one too many automobile honks pushing him over the sting, Hedges darts away from the development zone, slides throughout a automobile’s hood, and takes off on a protracted journey singing alongside to the track as he walks – seemingly without end. Watch the Celia Rowlson-Hall-directed video under.

Winter launched Heavy Steel, his debut solo album, final December. The singer-songwriter has stayed a lot busy on the highway with Geese touring behind their newest album, Getting Killed, which dropped again in September. The band has since carried out on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and launched a music video for “Au Pays du Cocaine.”

A couple of months in the past, Winter seemingly recorded a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing within the Darkish” for the launch trailer for the ROG Xbox Ally. Though his distinct tenor is tough to overlook, the jury remains to be out on if it’s truly him as a result of Winter, Geese, and their representatives haven’t responded to requests for remark.

Examine “Love Takes Miles” at No. 1 in “The 100 Best Songs of 2025” and Heavy Steel at No. 3 in “The 50 Best Albums of 2025.”
