Snail Mail has introduced her first album in 5 years. Ricochet is out March 27 through Matador. Lindsey Jordan co-directed the music video for lead single “Dead End” with Elsie Richter. Watch it under.
“We shot the video for ‘Useless Finish’ in random locations throughout rural North Carolina between the hours of 5pm and 4am on one of many coldest nights of my life,” Jordan mentioned in a press assertion. “The objective was to be inconspicuous with the fireworks, however somebody referred to as the cops on us.”
Jordan’s final album as Snail Mail, Valentine, got here out in 2021. Since then, she’s launched a music competition in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, appeared in Jane Schoenbrun’s movie I Saw the TV Glow, and coated songs by Superdrag, Pavement, Lou Reed, and This Is Lorelei.
