The John Muir Home in Martinez, California yearly hosts a mixed Earth Day and John Muir Birthday celebration. It’s definitely an applicable mixture since Scottish-born John Muir was, amongst so many issues, instrumental in including Yosemite and different parks to the nationwide park system and creating the Sierra Membership.
Piedmont Highland Dance was well-represented by dancers Dana Charron, Patty Coe, Barbara Cormack and Kathy Yam Saturday on the John Muir Home B/Earth Day 2017 celebration.
