Gein was confirmed to have killed two ladies in Plainfield, Wisconsin through the Fifties. The movies Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Bloodbath, and Silence of the Lambs all drew inspiration from his crimes. Hartley went lacking in 1953, and whereas Gein was suspected, he denied any involvement in her disappearance. Hartley’s stays weren’t discovered amongst these Gein stored in his residence.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story will premiere on Netflix on Friday, October 3.
