In a rock wedding ceremony for the ages, drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax, Pantera) married singer Carla Harvey (The Violent Hour, Lords of Acid, ex-Butcher Infants) over the weekend in a ceremony officiated by none apart from KISS legend Gene Simmons.
The couple tied the knot on Sunday, October twelfth, at The Secret Backyard in Las Vegas, with lots of their fellow rockers in attendance, together with members of Anthrax, Pantera, Mötley Crüe, Dream Theater, and Nickelback, based on People, which revealed unique images from the nuptials.
Simmons, fortunately, recovered from his recent car crash in time to officiate the marriage, with Benante describing the reception as “a sublime Russ Meyer film with a rock and roll twist.”

The thrash drummer added, “The preliminary concept was a small, intimate wedding ceremony with just some family and friends, however we knew that we’d not be capable of get away with a small wedding ceremony as soon as different associates heard about it. “We’re ending the second EP for Carla’s band, The Violent Hour, and we shall be releasing an Anthrax album shortly, so we shall be getting proper again to work after the marriage,” revealed Benante.
