Audien has introduced his long-awaited sophomore album, First Love, his first full-length challenge in six years. Due out in September 2025 through Armada, it is his first album since 2019’s Escapism.
Celebrating the announcement at present, Audien dropped a brand-new single, “Slide Away,” an evocative home anthem made in collaboration with MAKJ and Julia Church. Pushed by the latter’s effervescent vocal efficiency, the luxurious progressive home observe explores emotional development with a euphoric, upbeat twist.
“It’s an “I-love-you-but-I-need-to-chase-something-else” music – outgrowing somebody however figuring out higher love lies forward,” says Julia Church. “I beloved working collectively on this, it appears like the right mix of us all musically.”
The idea for First Love was sparked throughout a dialog on tour when somebody informed him his melodies encapsulate the extreme emotions related to experiencing a primary love, based on a press launch issued by Armada. The album, the label added, is Audien’s “most private and connective work up to now.”
