    BRAND OF SACRIFICE’s LEO VALERI & FIT FOR A KING’s RYAN O’LEARY Launch Papercut Recordings

    Longtime collaborators and inventive powerhouses Leo Valeri (Brand of Sacrifice, Shibori Threads) and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary (Fit For A King, Beacon Administration Group) have formally launched Papercut Recordings — a brand new residence for uncompromising artists.

    The label is constructed on one pressing precept: return artistic management to the artists. By pairing equitable funding with clear enterprise practices and lived expertise as musicians, Papercut Recordings goals to empower artists by partnership, not exploitation.

    “If there’s one factor we have seen sufficient of, it is seeing new expertise get steamrolled,” Valeri and O’Leary stated. “Our mission is to return artistic management and energy to the individuals who earned it – the artists. We offer truthful, clear funding paired with real-world experience from people who find themselves steel musicians themselves, residing and respiratory the scene alongside you. It is about partnership, respect, and constructing one thing genuine collectively.”

    To mark its launch, Papercut Recordings has introduced its first two signings:

    • Blackshape – whose shadowy, cerebral mix of post-metal, math rock, and ambient minimalism has earned them a repute for emotionally brutal, cinematic compositions.
    • Limbs – the Florida-born, northeast-based post-hardcore disruptors recognized for his or her ferocious reside reveals and sharp, emotionally uncooked songwriting.
