Bunũel – the band that includes vocalist Eugene S. Robinson (ex-Oxbow), guitarist Xabier Iriondo (Afterhours, A Quick Apnea), bassist David Haemery (Sordide) and drummer Frank Valente (Il Teatro Degli Orrori) – will hit the street this coming February with the amped-up futuristic hardcore-onslaught of Squid Pisser.

The tour kicks off on February 5 at Hello Dive in Denver, CO and wraps up on February 18 at Thrashers in Colorado Springs, CO. Get your tickets here.

On the tour, Bunũel said: “Six months after our first U.S. tour, we’re crashing again in February with a full-throttle sonic storm, backed by the brain-scrambling atonal freakouts of Squid Pisser, our Skingraft Data labelmates, unleashed by Tone Deaf Touring. Do not miss the prospect to listen to and witness reveals that’ll blow your head clear off.”

As for Oxbow, they’re at present on hiatus. It began when vocalist Eugene Robinson left the band, who said his resolution was made “beneath the load of irreconcilable variations, none of them aesthetic or musical, that I now should depart Oxbow.” Then guitarist Niko Wenner revealed that Oxbow broke up on account of a “latest allegation” made towards him through the band’s 2024 European tour.
