Burial has returned with a pair of new songs amounting to almost 23 minutes of recent music. “Comafields” and “Imaginary Festival” are streaming now; test them out beneath. They may come to vinyl as a two-track single, by way of Hyperdub, round September 19.
Burial’s final solo launch was the February 2024 EP Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above. He has since been comparatively energetic, nonetheless, sharing “Phoneglow” final June and scoring the Harmony Korine film, Baby Invasion, that debuted eventually yr’s Venice Movie Competition. The movie was broadly launched this Might, although the rating by no means received a standalone launch.
