Canadian demise metallic juggernauts Final Retch have dropped their new single “Dissolved In Lye (Down To Rot)”, the second style of their forthcoming sophomore album Abject Cruelty, out September 26, 2025 through Time To Kill Information.

The relentless, high-speed monitor dives into the darkest corners of human existence, confronting dependancy, mortality, and the damaging want to dissolve the physique in pursuit of transcendence. Lyrically, the track displays the crushing weight of psychological sickness, self-mutilation, and the opioid disaster, laying naked the struggling of society’s most weak.

Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Final Retch channel the bulldozer stomp of Bolt Thrower and the muscular heaviness of Cannibal Corpse, mixing old-school demise metallic ferocity with pit-ready aggression. Their upcoming LP Abject Cruelty was crafted to devastate, providing unrelenting riffs, bone-shattering grooves, and guttural pressure.

“Abject Cruelty stands as a testomony to Final Retch‘s dedication to relentless riffing and unflinching heaviness,” the band says of the file. Pre-orders are available here.
