Dentsply Sirona has appointed Bruce Peatey as Group Vice President of its newly shaped Americas Regional Industrial Group (RCO), following a merger of its North America and Latin America RCOs.

Peatey, who joined Dentsply Sirona in 2022 to steer the Asia Pacific (APAC) RCO, brings over 25 years of expertise in healthcare, medical gadgets, and biotechnology. In his new position, he’ll deal with enhancing worker engagement and driving high-performing groups throughout the Americas.

Peatey will relocate to Charlotte, N.C., the place he plans to have interaction with staff and clients to determine progress alternatives. Dentsply Sirona’s CEO, Simon Campion, expressed confidence in Peatey’s capability to steer the brand new area efficiently.

Restructuring Plan to Scale back Workforce

The information comes after the corporate introduced in a report on July 29 that its board of administrators had authorised a restructuring plan geared toward enhancing operational efficiency and driving shareholder worth. The plan features a international workforce discount of roughly 2% to 4% and is anticipated to end in $80 to $100 million in annual price financial savings. The restructuring is anticipated to be accomplished by the top of 2025.
