Morpheus Descends guitarist Bryan Johnston has sadly died at 50 years outdated. Johnston performed on Morpheus Descends‘ 1994 EP Chronicles of the Shadowed Ones, in addition to briefly headed up the band Mytherium for his or her sole 2014 album Gods of Chaos.
“We’re deeply saddened to share the passing of our former guitarist, Bryan Johnston,” wrote Morpheus Descends. “Bryan joined Morpheus Descends in 1993. His work will be heard on our 1994 EP Chronicles of the Shadowed Ones, an period that marked a shift towards a darker, extra doom-laden sound.
“Bryan‘s contribution will without end stay part of the Morpheus Descends legacy. Our deepest condolences exit to his household, pals, and all who knew him. Crank up Chronicles of the Shadowed Ones tonight in his honor.”
