Fasten your seatbelts, as a result of Excision and Sullivan King are again with one other collaboration crammed to the brim with bass-fueled turbulence.

“Encore” is just not coy about its intentions. The monitor opens with a surge of crowd noise—“Another track! Another track!”—a struggle cry each self-referential and fully earned. Inside seconds, that chant is obliterated by a boot-stomping kick drum and a serrated synth line, giving solution to a distorted pattern of Jay-Z’s unmistakable “Can I get an encore, would you like extra?” That’s the listener’s cue to brace themselves, as a result of what follows is an unrelenting descent into decibel overload.

The primary drop arrives with the subtlety of a wrecking ball. It’s a cacophony of low-end growls, layered with sufficient rhythmic scaffolding to maintain our bodies transferring. A second drop follows intently behind, tailored to show any dancefloor right into a raucous pit. Drop quantity three represents a shift into high-speed mayhem, bludgeoning the tempo into a brand new gear. The monitor is a ceaselessly ferocious journey that represents the most effective of each artists’ skills.

Excision and Sullivan King have a long-standing rapport, cast in earlier chaos like “Codename: Reckless,” “Our Fireplace,” and “Bass to the Dome,” amongst others. Their chemistry right here isn’t unintentional; as an alternative, it’s the results of years of calibrating joint sonic demolition.

This marks Excision’s third output of the yr, following “INSANE” with SVDDEN DEATH and yvm3, in addition to “Air” with Gryffin and Julia Michaels. Sullivan King has been on his personal warpath in 2025, surfacing along with his CHAOS WILL BRING PEACE EP and a string of collaborative singles that proceed to sharpen his genre-fusing edge.
