After practically a decade of silence, Gorguts have formally entered the studio to work on a brand new file! In a message to followers, the band confirmed they’re deep into the early levels of pre-production at Colin Marston‘s new studio, engaged on what is going to turn out to be their long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Pleiades’ Mud.
“Good day pricey Gorguthians, a lot of you will have been asking about new materials and updates from the band, so this is the most recent: the blokes are at the moment at Colin Marston‘s new studio in Pennsylvania, USA,” wrote Gorguts.
“They’ve simply spent three days recording pre-production demos for 4 new songs supposed for the upcoming album. There is no official launch date but, however you may anticipate the album someday round 2026. Keep tuned!”
The brand new Gorguts file would be the follow-up to their 2016 file Pleiades’ Mud. Pleiades’ Mud includes a single 33-minute monitor divided into seven distinct actions.
