    HUNTR/X Ties Record For Longest No. 1 Run On UK’s Official Singles Chart Of Any Animated Act

    The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack exhibits no indicators of slowing down in the UK!

    “Golden,” the smash hit by the animated movie’s fictional lady group HUNTR/X, is now spending its eighth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart (extensively considered the U.Okay. equal to Billboard’s Sizzling 100 in the USA).

    With this achievement, “Golden” has tied the document for probably the most weeks at No. 1 of any track by an animated artist, matching the eight-week run on the prime of the chart achieved by The Archies’ “Sugar, Sugar” again in 1969.

    The hit track “We Don’t Discuss About Bruno” (from Disney’s “Encanto”) recorded a complete of seven weeks at No. 1 again in 2022.

    Together with “Golden,” the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack landed a complete of three songs on this week’s prime 10: Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol” stayed sturdy at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.

    TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s model of “Takedown” additionally held comparatively regular at No. 25 on this week’s chart, whereas TWICE’s 2024 hit “Strategy” (which is included on the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack) adopted at No. 38.
