In 2025, Kim Gordon reworked her single “Bye Bye” into an indictment towards the Trump administration. Now she’s again with a brand new solo album that equally takes goal at politicians and the billionaire class; Play Me is out March 13 through Matador. Musically, Gordon is much less steely than ordinary on its lead single, “Not Today,” by which she breaks out her singing voice for the primary time in years. Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy directed the “Not In the present day” clip and pulled out a custom-made tulle costume that they designed for Gordon years again, bringing out each her edge and femininity.
