The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack is greater than “Golden”—it’s now formally platinum!
On October 8 native time, the Recording Business Affiliation of America (RIAA) awarded the soundtrack to the hit animated movie “KPop Demon Hunters” an official platinum certification for over 1 million items bought in the USA.
Moreover, 5 songs from the soundtrack obtained official certifications from the RIAA as singles. HUNTR/X’s “Golden” was licensed double platinum for promoting over 2 million items in the USA, whereas HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Completed” and “What It Sounds Like,” together with Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol,” all went platinum after promoting over 1 million items every.
