LAMB OF GOD Streams Slow-Burning New Single “Sepsis”

Lamb of God have unleashed their first new music in three years with “Sepsis,” a jagged, slow-burning anthem out now through Epic Data. I imply significantly, that bass riff on the high is nothing wanting a killer.

Produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, the monitor lands with a grainy lo-fi efficiency video directed by Gianfranco Svagelj. Shot in Richmond’s underbelly, the clip mirrors the track’s tense, claustrophobic temper — a uncooked reminder of the place the band first minimize their enamel.

Guitarist Mark Morton says the brand new monitor is rooted in nostalgia for Richmond’s underground scene: “‘Sepsis’ is a celebration of the very underground native bands right here in Richmond that we actually admired once we had been simply forming Burn the Priest.

“Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger – although they by no means received widespread consideration outdoors of Richmond, these had been the bands we listened to on a regular basis. The track references that stuff in a means that is a direct line to the place we had been coming from once we had been within the basement writing our earliest materials collectively.”

“Sepsis” arrives in the course of a landmark 12 months for Lamb of God. 2025 noticed the band mark their 25th anniversary with the “Again to the Starting” live performance, a blistering cowl of Black Sabbath‘s “Kids of the Grave,” and appearances at festivals together with Inkcarceration and Louder Than Life. Additionally they headlined Richmond’s brand-new Allianz Amphitheater in its debut season, filling its 7,500 seats with homegrown fury.

As 2025 winds down, the band are booked for Aftershock, AMMA Championship Fest, and their second annual Headbangers Boat cruise (October 31 by November 4).

The four-day floating pageant sails from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico, and options Clutch, Energy Journey, Kublai Khan TX, Obituary, Concern Manufacturing unit, The Black Dahlia Homicide, The Exploited, Crowbar, Nekrogoblikon, and extra — plus comedy from Josh Potter and Saul Trujillo, with internet hosting duties from Jose Mangin and Riki Rachtman. Tickets can be found now at Headbangersboat.com.
