    Listen to Big Thief’s New Songs “Los Angeles” and “Grandmother”

    Big Thief have shared two extra songs from Double Infinity, their upcoming studio album. “Los Angeles” and the Laraaji-featuring “Grandmother” are concerning the lovers-to-friends path and the realities of generational love and ache, respectively. The latter was the primary music that Large Thief wrote as a trio, following the departure of bassist Max Oleartchik. You may hearken to each songs under.

    Double Infinity is out September 5 by way of 4AD. Recorded final winter in New York, the album ropes collectively all three members of Large Thief with a variety of collaborators, together with Alena Spanger, Caleb Michel, Hannah Cohen, Jon Nellen, Joshua Crumbly, June McDoom, Mikel Patrick Avery, and Mikey Buishas. It’s the band’s sixth studio LP and the follow-up to 2022’s Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You.

    Subsequent, Large Thief will head out on tour in assist of the brand new LP. Their present route has them performing throughout North America from September 17 on by to November 7.
