    Toronto’s Music Round The Nook is again with two performances that function model new works chosen by their 2025 Name for Scores program. On this system are two world premieres by Canadian composers Kalen Smith and Pari Bahrami, alongside music by Amy Seaside and Dmitri Shostakovich.

    The ensemble was based by Canadian violinist Emma Meinrenken and violist Lynn Sue-A-Quan in 2023, and options Toronto-born and primarily based classical musicians. Musicians have included members of the Toronto Symphony, the New York Philharmonic, and the Indianapolis Symphony, together with latest graduates of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard College, Yale College, and McGill College.     Emma Meinrenken, Violinist, Co-Director

    Canadian violinist Emma Meinrenken is presently working in direction of her Grasp of Musical Arts at Yale

Lynn has additionally collaborated with orchestras throughout North America as a soloist, and carried out at worldwide festivals, together with Lucerne Music Pageant, Tanglewood Music Heart, and the Verbier Pageant. Sue-A-Quan is a graduate of the Juilliard College, holding a bachelor’s and a grasp’s diploma. She has a busy personal instructing studio along with her performing profession.

    Matthew Christakos, Cellist

    Cellist and Toronto native Matthew Christakos was recently been appointed because the Affiliate Principal Cello of the New York Philharmonic.     Diane Kim, violin
