Seven Lions — and Ophelia Data founder Jeff Montalvo — has launched his new album immediately, Asleep within the Backyard of Infernal Stars. A masterpiece that seems like a private physique of labor, the album marks a return to the inspirations that formed Seven Lions’ earliest sound. “The identify got here from me going again to my roots – books, fantasy, steel,” the previous drummer says. “Loads of my favourite steel tracks have these mystical, visually evocative names.
