The Recording Business Affiliation of Japan (RIAJ) has introduced its newest batch of official certifications!
This month, SEVENTEEN’s new Korean album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” earned an official double platinum certification for over 500,000 models shipped in Japan. In response to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are licensed gold at 100,000 models shipped and platinum at 250,000.
In the meantime, TWICE’s newest Japanese compilation album “#TWICE5,” BTS’s Jin’s Korean solo mini album “Echo,” and BOYNEXTDOOR’s newest Korean EP “No Genre” have been all licensed gold for over 100,000 models shipped in Japan.
