Snocaps, the brand new indie-rock band led by twin sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield, with accompaniment by MJ Lenderman and longtime Waxahatchee producer Brad Cook, have introduced their first-ever tour. Take a look at their full checklist of tour dates under.

Days after surprise-releasing their debut self-titled album, Snocaps are rolling out the main points on their first-ever concert events. Unfold throughout three cities, Snocaps’ mini tour begins at Chicago’s Thalia Corridor, on December 1 and a pair of, the place they’re joined by Cloakroom and Graham Hunt, respectively. Subsequent, the band heads to Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom, on December 4 and 5, with openers Slippers and Mike Krol. Snocaps then conclude the run at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, on December 7 and eight, with Brennan Wedl and Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band.

Katie and Allison Crutchfield have an extended historical past of enjoying music collectively. Earlier than breaking out of their bands Waxahatchee and Swearin’, respectively, the sisters recorded lo-fi music collectively in P.S. Eliot, which dissolved within the early 2010s, and Dangerous Banana, their equally short-lived challenge. Each Cook dinner and Lenderman have performed music with Katie Crutchfield earlier than, too, though not in these bands. Cook dinner has spent years working behind the board on many Waxahatchee data, whereas Lenderman collaborated with Katie Crutchfield on Tigers Blood—most notably on the one “Right Back to It.”

Revisit the interview “How Waxahatchee Made the Album of Her (Second) Life” and examine “Proper Again to It” at No. 2 in “The 100 Best Songs of 2024.”
