Spineshank are formally wanting towards the longer term. In a brand new chat with Discoveringbands, drummer Tommy Decker confirmed that the reunited Los Angeles crew are actively engaged on new materials — their first since 2012’s Anger Denial Acceptance.
“There’s some stuff [in the works],” Decker teased. “It may be a short time [before it’s released]. We have a couple of songs. We’ll see what occurs. [It will arrive] most likely someday subsequent yr.”
The band’s 2025 incarnation options core members Decker, frontman Jonny Santos, and bassist/vocalist Robert Garcia, alongside new recruits Jason Hager (ex-Chimaira) on guitar and Decker‘s son, Tommy Decker Jr., additionally stepping in on guitar.
As for the sound of the brand new materials? Followers should not anticipate Spineshank to reinvent the wheel. “It is extra Spineshank,” Decker defined. “We wish to have the heaviness.
