Static-X bassist Tony Campos has confirmed that the band are contemplating writing brand-new materials with their present lineup as soon as they’ve accomplished work on their long-in-the-making documentary.
Talking with Bloodstock TV’s Oran O’Beirne finally month’s Bloodstock Open Air pageant, Campos revealed: “We have been speaking about writing some new materials, some new songs. We now have a documentary that is within the works proper now. So we’re gonna end that first. After which, as soon as we drop that, then we’ll revisit entering into and writing some new materials. I do not wanna juggle too many plates. Let’s simply end [the documentary]. Then we are able to focus all of our consideration on new materials.”
Requested if the documentary is predicted to reach in 2026, Campos confirmed: “Yeah, that is what we’re capturing for. We’re in enhancing course of now. All of the footage is finished. Each data have been produced by vocalist Xer0 (broadly believed to be Edsel Dope) and blended and mastered by longtime collaborator Ulrich Wild.
Whereas the band are nonetheless touring closely behind the Mission Regeneration albums, Campos‘ feedback mark the primary trace that Static-X may transfer ahead with authentic music of their present period.
Static-X will hit the highway with Mudvayne and Vended this September and October.
