Solar Do not Shine – the band that includes Kind O Unfavourable guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly alongside present Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein and ex-Crowbar bassist Todd Unusual that was once known as Eye Am – is now streaming their newest single “Coming Down”.

The one is part of Solar Do not Shine‘s upcoming four-song EP of the identical identify, which is out in July and is on the market for pre-order right here.

On the band itself and their total strategy to songwriting, Hickey provided: “We do not need it to be one-dimensional. We would like the music to be each gentle and darkish—dynamic and unpredictable.”

Solar Do not Shine initially debuted as Eye Am in 2023 with their first single, “Goals At all times Die With The Solar.” The band selected to relaunch as Solar Do not Shine in January 2025, higher reflecting their darker, extra layered musical path.
