A brand new live performance movie from the Cure will hit theaters on December 11. Directed by British filmmaker and longtime collaborator Nick Wickham, The Show of a Lost World paperwork the band’s November 2024 efficiency at London’s Troxy to have fun the discharge of Songs of a Misplaced World. Their 31-song setlist included the one efficiency of the album in full thus far and a forty fifth anniversary tribute to 1980’s Seventeen Seconds. Frontman Robert Smith dealt with The Present of a Misplaced World’s mixing.
Songs of a Misplaced World marked the Treatment’s first studio album in 16 years. The band adopted it up with a remix album that includes contributions from 4 Tet, Mogwai, and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, amongst others.
