Lucasfilm has unveiled the primary trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, the upcoming standalone theatrical sequel to Jon Favreau’s acclaimed Disney+ collection The Mandalorian.
In theaters and IMAX on Could twenty second, 2026, the movie stars Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarian and his trusty sidekick Grogu, plus Sigourney Weaver (Ward), Jeremy Allen White (Rotta the Hutt), Jonny Coyne (as an Imperial Warlord). Favreau directed the movie, working off a screenplay he wrote alongside Dave Filoni.
The Mandalorian and Grogu additionally notably makes the primary Star Wars movie to hit theaters since Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker in December 2019. It will likely be adopted in Could 2027 by the discharge of Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter.
