    THE SCOOP | Free Choir & Organ Concert Series At Roy Thomson Hall Is Back

    Roy Thomson Corridor’s standard — and free — Choir & Organ Live performance Sequence is again for a twenty eighth season. The sequence takes place at midday hour, and options Toronto and space choirs performing with Roy Thomson Corridor’s Gabriel Kney pipe organ. The four-manual organ, constructed by Gabriel Kney Pipe Organ builders of London, Ontario, options 5,207 pipes and 73 stops.

    The free live performance sequence, appropriate for viewers members ages six and up, comes through the help of the Edwards Charitable Basis, and RTH’s group of training and group engagement donors.

    The live shows happen December 19, 2025, February 10, 2026, April 2, 2026, and June 1, 2026.

    The Concert events

    Please notice the schedule for every date:

    • Entrance doorways open at 11:00 a.m.
    • Auditorium doorways open at 11:30 a.m.

    Orpheus Choir of Toronto: Merry & Shiny (Friday, December 19, 2025)

    Orpheus Choir was shaped by organist John Sidgwick in 1964 as an alternative choice to the standard choir of the mid-Nineteen Sixties. The choir is now celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, and has been led by creative director Thomas Burton since 2023. The choir has developed a fame over the many years for performances of each sacred and secular works from the Renaissance to the twenty first century. Their repertoire contains classical and experimental works, and the choir has usually launched Toronto audiences to lesser identified composers and music.
