    TOMBS Stays Gloomy On New Single “The Sun Sets”

    New Jersey experimental metallic collective Tombs has unveiled a haunting new single “The Solar Units” in all its beefy, gloomy glory. “The Solar Units” is taken from Tombs‘ upcoming full-length, Feral Darkness, due out October 17, 2025 through Redefining Darkness.

    Bassist Drew Murphy shared: “I am extremely pleased with what we have achieved on the album. I am notably pleased with this tune. It is positively a standout observe in my view. Once I take heed to this tune I really feel prefer it takes me on an epic journey that ends with being stranded in the midst of a really offended sea. I hope everybody enjoys it as a lot as we do.”

    Frontman and Tombs founder Mike Hill describes the album as a end result of the band’s evolving sonic journey: “On Feral Darkness we’re going deeper into the abyss, including layer of expression that we have been engaged on during the last decade. The brand new album is the closest we now have come so far with realizing our journey into the darker elements of the cosmos with a wholesome dose of non-public introspection.”

    Feral Darkness options 10 tracks of searing emotional depth and sonic density, together with the lead single and title observe “Feral Darkness,” which is now out there to stream. The complete album clocks in at simply over 50 minutes and contains standout cuts like “Glass Eyes / Ghoul,” “Granite Sky,” and the epic “Nightland,” that includes visitor vocals from Sera Timms (Black Mare, Black Math Horsemen, Ides of Gemini).

    The album was recorded and combined by Justin Spaeth, mastered by Andreas Rosczyk, and options cowl art work by visible artist Seldon Hunt. Pre-orders for Feral Darkness are available now via Bandcamp and the Redefining Darkness store.
