Alex G was the musical visitor on final night time’s episode of The Late Present With Stephen Colbert. He gave the Headlights single “Afterlife” its late-night debut, backed by his four-piece band. Watch it go down under.

Alex G launched Headlights, his God Save the Animals follow-up and major-label debut, per week in the past right this moment, preceded by a Zev Magasis–directed video for second single “June Guitar.” He’s set to move on tour in North America, with Nilüfer Yanya, in September. After that wraps up the next month, he’ll tour Europe by way of November.

Learn Anna Gaca’s current characteristic “The (Real) Alex G.”

Correction: An earlier model of this story incorrectly said that Alex G carried out “Headlights” on The Late Present With Stephen Colbert. He performed “Afterlife.”
