    Watch Brandi Carlile Play Songs From New Album on Saturday Night Live

    Brandi Carlile was the musical visitor on final evening’s episode of Saturday Night time Stay, hosted by Miles Teller. Backed by a full band, Carlile carried out two songs from her new album Returning To Myself, “Church & State” and “Human.” Throughout “Church & State,” she recited Thomas Jefferson’s 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptists.     Final evening marked Carlile’s fourth time as musical visitor and her third SNL look this 12 months alone; she was among the many performers at February’s SNL50: The Homecoming Concert and, in April, joined Elton John to play songs from their 2025 collaborative album Who Believes in Angels?

    Bad Bunny hosted Saturday Night time Stay’s 51st season premiere final month alongside musical visitor Doja Cat. Since then, Role Model made his SNL debut and Sabrina Carpenter pulled double obligation, internet hosting for the primary time and performing songs from Man’s Best Friend. This week’s episode is about to function Nikki Glaser and Sombr. Then, on November 15, Glen Powell will likely be joined by Olivia Dean.
