JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Good Man” has confirmed its premiere date and launched a sequence of recent character teaser movies that includes Lee Dong Wook!

The noir drama “The Good Man” will inform the story of Park Seok Chul (Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a third-generation gangster household with an unexpectedly pure coronary heart, and his past love Kang Mi Younger (Lee Sung Kyung), who desires of changing into a singer.

Three distinct teaser movies provide a glimpse into the drama’s emotional and stylistic vary. The primary, titled the “Noir” model, hints at Park Seok Chul’s tumultuous life journey. With blood-stained bandages wrapped round his hand and a hauntingly vacant gaze, the teaser units a gritty tone. The voiceover, “A person who had a lot to guard,” suggests a personality consistently preventing to defend what issues most to him.

The second teaser, with a “Literary” idea, reveals a softer, extra introspective aspect of Seok Chul. As he takes notes in a journal, he narrates, “Hemingway as soon as mentioned, so long as the solar rises, there may be hope. Will the solar rise once more for me?” This poignant reflection raises curiosity about his interior battle and hopes.

The ultimate teaser blends each the noir and literary parts, providing a fuller image of Seok Chul’s id. As scenes shift between each ideas, he narrates, “I took the street much less traveled by. And that has made all of the distinction.” As Seok Chul struggles between his dream of changing into a novelist and his life within the prison underworld, viewers are left questioning what sort of selections he has made—and the way they’ve formed his future.

“The Good Man” is ready to premiere on July 18.
