Water From Your Eyes are again with one other new track from It’s a Beautiful Place, following June’s “Life Signs.” Their newest single, “Playing Classics,” comes with a music video by James Dayton by which a teddy bear goes for a protracted journey from a baby’s stuffed animal, to a canine toy, to a skateboard accent, to a star in Water From Your Eyes’ rehearsal. Watch it under.

It’s a Stunning Place is out August 22 through Matador. It follows their 2023 album, Everyone’s Crushed, and an EP of cover songs they launched in 2024. Water From Your Eyes additionally remixed the Armed’s track “Sport of Type” for final yr’s Everlasting Gaze EP.

Exterior of Nate Amos and Rachel Brown’s experimental pop band, Amos put out the solo album Box for Buddy, Box for Star along with his This Is Lorelei mission final yr, whereas Brown launched two EPs underneath their solo moniker Thanks for Coming: 2025’s The IRS No Longer Has My Address, and Neither Do I and 2023’s What Is My Capacity to Love?
