Yaeji has enlisted the hyperpop artist Underscores and rapper Aliyah’s Interlude for a brand new track. “Booboo2” is the sequel to—and reinvention of—Yaeji’s 2024 single “Booboo,” and her first track since March’s “Pondeggi.” (“A 12 months in the past as we speak, I wrote a banger that goes like: ‘Booboo, don’t contact me,’” the track begins.) Yaeji has launched a string of loosies and collaborations since With a Hammer, beginning with “Easy Breezy” and together with latest collaborations with Bambii and Girl Talk, in addition to a Teddy Geiger collaboration, “Pink Ponies,” for the Red Hot compilation Transa. She additionally remixed the South Korean boy band Ateez’s track “In Your Fantasy” in July.
