Skrillex provides us ‘hit me the place it hurts x‘, a five-track EP that expands on his album ‘FCK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! ‘. The mission arrives with a mixture of Skrillex’s manufacturing type and contemporary collaborators. This launch grew to become actuality after Skrillex launched ‘fuze‘, ‘Hit me the place it hurts x‘, and his Grammy nomination, ‘Voltage‘.

The EP opens with ‘fuze‘, a collaboration with ISOxo that embodies Skrillex’s early dubstep power. Subsequent is ‘whilst you have been sleeping‘, created with Digital Riot and Nakeesha. This monitor’s association sounds prefer it got here out of Skrillex’s large 2023 album ‘Quest for Fire‘. Shifting on, ‘transfer ting‘ follows with Moody Good and Nakeesha. This one pushes the low finish ahead and drives the rhythm with huge bass and vocal chops. The title monitor, ‘hit me where it hurts x‘, brings Dylan Brady and Caroline Polachek for a percussive and dance grasp piece. The EP ends with “voltage (see you once more)”, constructed with Varg2™, Whitearmor, LOAM, Digital Riot, and swedm®. Skrillex revisits the Grammy-nominated ‘VOLTAGE‘ he initially wrote in 2010. He rebuilds it with hyperpop-style manufacturing and brand-new vocals. The monitor feels emotional, melodic, and highly effective.

Skrillex continues to guide the digital music scene via fearless experimentation. His rise started in 2010 when his early releases like ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites‘ and remixes gained international consideration. Over time, he developed a definite type outlined by his vocal chop and synth sound design, percussive rhythms, and daring inventive association selections. Skrillex could be very well-known on the Grammy Awards, with 20 nominations and profitable 9 of them. In 2026, he shall be again with multiple nominations, together with Greatest Dance/Digital Album and Greatest Dance/Digital Recording. His signature affect stays unmatched as he continues to innovate via new releases, international performances, and evolving inventive tasks.
