    SG Lewis Announces New Album, "Anemoia"

    SG Lewis has introduced his third studio album, Anemoia, marking his return to the dancefloor with a challenge steeped in nostalgia.

    The title of the album, scheduled to launch September fifth, refers to a selected type of longing: nostalgia for instances and locations one has by no means skilled.

    For Lewis, the album represents his try to distill a long time of dance music evolution right into a cohesive sonic expertise that speaks to up to date membership tradition. Based on a press launch, the idea captures his deep connection to pivotal moments in dance music historical past, from Nineteen Seventies New York to Nineties Ibiza and the acid home motion. 

    “All through my profession, I’ve usually referenced previous eras of music, learning them inside out to know their cultural and technical historical past,” Lewis defined. “In doing so, I began to query my emotional connection to these instances, and why they left such a mark on me.”
